Plumitif Press was born from a young girl’s love of storytelling on Wattpad on the island of Mauritius. Founded officially as an LLC in 2021 by Lady Lavinia Dasani, the company began as a passionate indie publishing house and has since evolved into a versatile creative and professional services company.

We publish fiction across multiple genres, as well as self-help journals, workbooks, colouring books, and wellness resources designed to support healing and personal growth.

Beyond publishing, we offer a wide range of tailored services, including author coaching, editing, formatting, cover design, document management, branding, creative projects, curriculum development, compliance assistance, and project coordination. We also offer unique physical products, including self-soothing mystery boxes and branded merchandise.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Lady Lavinia Dasani is the Founder and CEO of Plumitif Press LLC. A passionate author, self-publisher, and psychoeducation wellness coach, she holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from The Open University London, an MBA from Singapore Business School, and certifications including Certified Trauma-Informed Coach (CTIC). With years of experience in behavioral health settings and a deep personal connection to mental health and life skills, Lavinia brings a unique blend of storytelling expertise and psychological insight to everything she creates.

Originally from Mauritius, Lavinia migrated to the United States as a teenager. She discovered her love for writing around age 12 on Wattpad and has since turned her passion into a growing publishing imprint. Her debut novel, Taming Angel and the Tame Series, emerged as stories that consumed her thoughts and have since reached readers worldwide on platforms like Amazon, Kindle, Kobo, and Smashwords.

Beyond publishing, Lavinia enjoys traveling, music, peaceful beach days, and meaningful connections with people. She believes that stories and practical tools can serve as powerful sources of joy, escape, and personal growth.
