As this new month starts, my question to you is:
- Have you stopped to take a breath?
- Have you considered pouring more into yourself? Especially if you spend a majority of your time pouring more into others at the expense of your own health.
- What are you doing with your present that will make a difference in your own future?
These questions are not to increase the pressure in your life.
In fact, it’s here to help you think. To take a step back and get to know yourself better.
I chose the above quote from Buddha for this month, because mental awareness and mental health is something dear to me.
As you perused through your social media, have you noticed that ever since the quarantine, there has been an increase in mental health and mindfulness contents?
Have you taken the time to watch those videos, read those articles and contribute to those posts?
This is all to tell you that Mental Health is paramount. It starts with spreading awareness about Mental Health issues and topic. And it begins by practising Mindfulness.
If you are interested to learn more about Mindfulness and Mental Health, I would recommend checking Jay Shetty‘s contents. It’s helpful, resourceful and relatable to a lot of us out there.
However, feel free to browse. You might find someone else who pulls to your inner self more than Jay Shetty.
Now, to everyone out there who uses music to relax, to spark creativity and to think, you are welcome to follow my playlist on Spotify. I have 2 of them made public for anyone to hear. Though, let me warn you that one of the playlists knows no language restriction. It varies from English, French, Spanish, Hindi and even Portuguese.
This one, here, is mostly dedicated to writers and romance readers. Or if you are in a romantic mood. Last week I added some new songs to it, so if you have some songs suggestion that would pair well with this particular playlist, let me know.
